Sunday Open Gym

The Sunday Open Gym was designed to help individuals and families living with Autism.

3000 square feet of carpeted open space, safety mats surrounding the perimeter, suspended swings, sensory and exploratory materials, visual supports

Siblings are welcome.

We encourage all families to utilize the various designs we have created to promote independence.

A trip to the Sunday Open Gym is more then just a great way to spend some quality time with your loved one.

It is also a way to promote community skill development in a therapeutic environment.

This year the Sunday Open Gym will run December, January, February and March, 2012. Opening Day is December 4, 2011

It will be open to young children, their siblings and parents from 10:00am to 1:30 pm.

It will be open to adolescents and young adults (14 and Up) from 2:00 to 5:00pm.

We will have different and age appropriate equipment for our older visitors.

Unlike years past - there will be a fee of $5.00 per visit per family.

Your first visit will be FREE! Must be affiliated with either Advocates, Inc. OR Autism Alliance of MetroWest to attend. Please follow this link to become a free member of the Autism Alliance.

From the west:

Take Route 9 east. Pass Route 27, and continue 1.25 miles to Oak Street. Make a left turn onto Oak Street via a special turning lane found to your right. Follow Oak Street for 1/2 mile, then make a right onto Tech Circle. Academy MetroWest is located in the fourth building to your right in the back of the building.

Also from the west:

Take Route 30 East. Pass Route 27 and continue 1.25 miles to Oak Street. Make a right turn onto Oak Street. After about a mile, make a left on Tech Circle. Academy MetroWest is located in the back of the fourth building to your right.

From the Mass Pike:

Route 30 is accessible at Exit #13. (See above).

From the north:

Take Route 126, or Route 20 to Route 27 South. Follow Route 27 to the intersection of Route 30 and make a left. Continue on Route 30 for 1.25 miles to Oak Street. Make a right onto Oak Street, then a left onto Tech Circle. Academy MetroWest is located in the rear of the fourth building to your right.

From the east:

Take Route 128 to either Route 30 west or Route 9 west until you reach Oak Street. (See directions from the west: above).

From the south:

Take Routes 126, 16 or 115 to Route 27 north. Follow Route 27 to the intersection of Route 30 and make a right. Continue on Route 30 for 1.25 miles to Oak Street. Make a right turn onto Oak Street, then a left onto Tech Circle. Academy MetroWest is located at the rear of the fourth building to your right.
