April is Autism Awareness Month
Let's stay connected through hope, compassion, and understanding.
Healthy Heroes Daily Resources
Social distancing guidelines have been extended through April and we want to let you know that you will continue to receive daily resources. We are collecting resources for at home and online activities you and your loved ones can use to fill your day, engage your mind, stretch your muscles, and stay connected. For additional resources, follow us on Facebook and tell us about any useful resources you find that you'd like us to share.
COVID-19 Disability Form
This form was developed at Stony Brook University by M. Ballan and C. Perri. The goal is to complete this form prior to seeking medical attention for COVID-19 symptoms. Having this form will help to alert ER physicians to necessary and proper communication with the patient with disabilities and his/her needs and wishes.

Supporting Challenging Behavior at Home
In this interview Dr. Ross Green discusses his model, Collaborative Proactive Solutions (CPS), which helps parents and kids solve problems together. He applies this model to the current COVID-19 crisis and talks about how power struggles at home can be overcome.
Tech4Good started to help parents, teachers, and children adapt to the new challenges they may face with homeschooling. They have received donations from educational apps valued at over $40,000 that cover every age range and subject.
