Let's stay connected through hope, compassion, and understanding.
Healthy Heroes Daily Resources
Social distancing guidelines have been extended through April and we want to let you know that you will continue to receive daily resources. We are collecting resources for at home and online activities you and your loved ones can use to fill your day, engage your mind, stretch your muscles, and stay connected. For additional resources, follow us on Facebook and tell us about any useful resources you find that you'd like us to share.
A Story of Hope
While we are faced with more uncertainty every day, your child may be asking more questions about when things will get better and when they will be able to start doing what they love again. This social story is a great way to explain to your child that "Someday" everything will be better.
Check out these great resources and strategies for special education distance learning. There are so many great ideas to help your child stay engaged while out of school. There are workbooks, online learning tools, and activities to make learning fun!
Play with kid' television character Molly of Denali as she shows you how to create some bead designs. She will also teach you about her Alaska Native culture while using the designs created to decorate clothing and other items. Once you have mastered all of Molly's designs you can create your own too!
