Come slide, jump and play with us at the West Natick Jam Time for an Autism Alliance party! Run, jump, swing, ride and play with friends in a great open space with lots of structures and sensory fun. We will provide dinner from Nicks Pizza House so the kids will go home full, tired, and satisfied. Hybrid Cart Tour/Walking Tour Friday August 19, 2022 10:30am -12:00pm
What types of plants and flowers bloom in August here in Framingham? Come find out with Autism Alliance as we explore the grounds. We have 2 garden guides for our group. One garden guide will drive a golf cart that can hold up to 5 passengers if we should need that accommodation at any time. The other guide will lead a walking tour. Registration is required for this program as we have a limited number of spots.

Annual Family Apple Picking Weekend
We will have two back to back days of New England's BEST Apple Picking at Honey Pot Farm. On September 24th we will host a a party for our Little Folks ages 3-5. Each child guest will receive a 1/4 peck apple picking bag, cider donut, a cup of cider, and a small pumpkin. Our party will include private hayride, fun sensory play time in the moon-bounce, and visit with the animals. On September 25th we will host a party for our Getting older kids ages 6-12. Each guest will receive a 1/2 peck apple picking bag, caramel apple, a cup of cider, and small pumpkin. Party includes private hayride and moon-bounce. Registration opens September 1. Space is limited.

The Autism Alliance, in partnership with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), is happy to announce social and respite programming for Fall 2022. In order to participate in these free programs, you must meet this criteria:
1. Geography: Live in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts, as defined by DDS.
2. Eligibility: Be deemed eligible for DDS services under the Division of Autism. This is an application process that once completed, can take many months to process. Please contact one of our Autism Specialists if you have any questions about filling out this DDS application or require assistance, or if you are unsure about your child's eligibility status.

Social Skills: New Friends Group |

The Autism Alliance in partnership with Successfully Social New England is offering A fun, interactive and dynamic social group to help kids improve upon their self-image, identify their strengths and challenges, and develop their personal toolbox of strategies to increase their confidence and be able to successfully navigate the social world. |

In-person Saturday's 5:30 pm -8:00 pm 1x month | Begins September Ages 5-11
This program runs September 2022 through May 2023, with monthly sessions for children ages 5-11 with autism. The program is held on Saturday evenings at a community location in Middlesex West. The respite is provided in small groups or with one-to-one support by special education teachers and specialists, with support from Autism Alliance staff. |

Music Therapy: Digital Music |

Virtual Thursday’s 6:15 pm- 7:00 pm 2x a month | Begins September 8
Ages 14-19
The Autism Alliance in partnership with Meridian Music Therapy is offering a music-based program that fosters experiences that are used as interventions designed to combat isolation symptoms, support socialization, self-regulation, and self-validation. Using a variety of popular music apps, participants engage in composition by manipulating musical elements and structure such as pitch, rhythm, timbre, texture, and form to create original songs.

| Sensory-Friendly Evening August 10
New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill — Boylston, MA In partnership with HMEA’s Autism Resource Central, individuals and families are invited to explore the gardens after hours in a low-sensory, less crowded environment. |

| Six Flags Attraction Access Program
Six Flags’ Attraction Access Program is designed to accommodate guests with disabilities or certain other qualifying impairments so they may participate in the enjoyment of our Parks. Each attraction at Six Flags has been evaluated for the criteria necessary for an individual to ride safely. We strive to make sure that Six Flags is fun and accessible for everyone and lots of guests with disabilities enjoy the park every day. Guests with cognitive disorders, disabilities or mobility impairments who request helpful accommodations must obtain the IBCCES Individual Accessibility Card (IAC) by registering at www.accessibilitycard.org. Once a Guest has filled out the online application and uploaded necessary documentation, they will be able to access their digital Accessibility Card. Guests will present the IBCCES Accessibility Card and Information Sheet to the Ride Information Center (Guest Services) inside each park to receive any necessary accommodations.

Project Bread Find a Summer Eats Site Where All Kids + Teens Eat Free
Summer Eats is a totally free-of-charge program that provides free meals to all kids and teens, ages 18 and under, at locations all across Massachusetts during the summer months. |
