Gnome Surf is a 501c3 Non-Profit Surf Therapy Organization whose mission is to create a cultural shift toward kindness, love, and acceptance for all kids, of all abilities. We accomplish this by providing families with surf therapy, art therapy, eco therapy, and yoga experiences locally and globally regardless of their socio-economic status. We dream of a world where acceptance and kindness are the norm for individuals with special abilities. No matter the age or stage, finding the right supports and services can be confusing and complicated. This workshop is designed to help you with this process. Kerry Mahoney and Kathleen Amaral will take turns facilitating this one-hour monthly virtual group consultation sessions that will provide information and resources for specific areas of need, including who to call, where to go, and best practices to guide the way. ![]() Saturday, June 25, 2022 - Sunday June 26th, 2022 10:00am to 2:00pm —Drop in Cost: Free with admission Museum turns 40 this year, and we’re celebrating with a birthday bash in honor of our museum mascot, Bessie, the big, green dinosaur. Help us create a great, big, colorful birthday hat fit for our favorite dino friend—and design your own unique party hat to add to the fun! Make a birthday card to support a local charity whose mission is to create special birthday moments for children who are in the hospital on their birthdays. Test out your observation skills on a Bessie-inspired scavenger hunt around our campus, and between 11am to 2pm enjoy treats available from the Jerry’s Famous Soft Serve truck! This program is weather and conditions dependent. Heavy rain or other inclement weather may result in changes to the program.
