Have you been looking for fun places to bring your family? Are you worried about the business being Autism Friendly? Worry no further. The Autism Alliance has trained and certified several businesses in MetroWest. We would like to share our TOP Picks for Autism Welcoming recreation this summer. If you visit any of the below businesses let us know how your experience was (we love to see photos too!) and your name will be placed in our Autism Welcoming Summer Give-a-way Raffle @ AutismAlliance. Let's Bee Kids PlayCenter

Sensory Friendly Wednesdays

Let's Bee Kids PlayCenter is a NEWLY Certified Autism Welcoming Business offering dedicated hours each Wednesday from 9:30am-2:00pm. Special sensory kits and visual aids are available at the check-in desk and all staff have received training designed to raise their awareness and understanding of children with autism.  

Apex Sensory Friendly Saturday

Sensory Friendly hour is the first Saturday of the month, one hour prior to opening. 

Saturday July 3rd 11:00am-12 noon
Saturday August 7th 11:00am - 12 noon

Southwick Zoo 2021 Zoo Season

Mon & Wed:10:00am - 3:00pm
Tues,Thurs, Fri, Sat, & Sun:10:00am - 5:00pm

Tickets are not available to be purchased at the entrance at this time. All visitors are required to purchase tickets online (or make a reservation online if you have pre-purchased tickets) for a specific visit date and entry time. Each entry time slot has a limited number of tickets. If the ticket sales site doesn't show any available time slots when you select your date, this means that day is sold out.

Discovery Museum Autism-Friendly Afternoon

Sunday July 11th

3:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Cost: Free with pre-registration

Please check back for registration link 2 weeks prior to the event. Come play and explore in our ADA-compliant and universally designed museum during this special, free afternoon dedicated to families with members on the autism spectrum. The Museum will be closed to the general public and headcount will be limited. Advance registration is required.

Putts and More Family Fun Center 

Putts and More is a NEWLY Certified Autism Welcoming Business.  Special sensory toolkit and customized visual supports are available at the admission desk. All staff have received training designed to raise their awareness and understanding of individuals with autism. They are happy to accommodate your family and loved ones special needs during your visit. If needed, please be sure to ask for an "access pass" to expedite your waiting time.  

Fitness Together 

Fitness Together is a NEWLY Certified Autism Welcoming Business who welcome individuals with autism as clients for their personal training services. Special sensory kits and visual aids are available at the center and all staff have received training designed to raise their awareness and understanding of individuals with autism.
