Help support families caring for loved ones with autism.

One of our favorite family events of the year is our upcoming Sunset at Southwick’s Zoo on Friday, June 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm! We are now in our 5th year hosting this private evening for individuals with autism and their families. It is such a joy to provide families the opportunity to explore the zoo on their own terms - in an intimate, quiet environment with no bright lights, rides, food vendors or gift store. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and get ready to stroll the more than 200 acre property.

Your admission to the event comes with lots of free stuff! Through the generosity of The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, gluten-free snacks will be available, as well as water bottles. Each child will also receive an insulated monkey cooler to commemorate our 5th year hosting this event in conjunction with Southwick's Zoo. When it's time to say goodbye, we will have stickers, lollipops and other goodies for each child as they exit.

We encourage families to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy at the many picnic tables throughout the zoo! If you'd rather enjoy dinner before or after the event, there is a beautiful restaurant right near the entrance of the zoo called Galliford's Restaurant & Tavern

To ensure success for your loved one at this fun evening, we will provide a social story and scavenger hunt booklet at check-in. Don’t miss out on this wonderful evening…space is limited to 500 guests and discounted tickets are selling quickly. Purchase Tickets Here.
